Job Overview:

At Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller Trainee to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for ensuring that stock and work in progress are accurately valued in accordance with accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate valuation of stock and work in progress
• Run period end stock and WIP valuation reports and reconcile them to the General Ledger
• Prepare accrual and prepayment calculations for the monthly management accounts
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to plan and forecast
• Provide line management and guidance to the Finance Administrator

What We're Looking For:

• CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist
• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths or equivalent experience
• Excellent IT skills, especially within MS Excel spreadsheet development and manipulation
• Experience of being involved in new systems implementations
