Key Responsibilities

The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

Stock and work-in-progress valuation
Monthly management accounts preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accrual and prepayment calculations
Variance analysis comparing actual results to plan and forecast
Providing line management and guidance of the Finance Administrator
Posting the monthly payroll to the General Ledger
Other tasks and projects to support the Financial Controller and Site Leadership Team

The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly. A degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths, or equivalent experience is essential, as well as CIMA or ACCA qualification or finalist status. The salary for this position is £58,000-£68,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
