Role Responsibilities

The successful Estimator Aluminium Glazing Systems will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing detailed estimates for high-end aluminium glazing systems, including curtain walling, windows, doors, rooflights, fire-rated glazing, and structural glazing
  2. Reviewing tender documents and producing high-quality tender returns to secure new business opportunities
  3. Utilising specialist estimating software to determine material costs and negotiate prices with the supply chain
  4. Liaising with main contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and building strong relationships to drive future business growth
  5. Ensuring the internal CRM system is regularly updated to reflect project progress and outcomes
  6. Preparing handover documents for the contracts department to facilitate smooth project handovers
  7. Estimating for projects ranging in value from up to circa £8m, prioritising workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Ideal Applicant Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. Estimating experience within the aluminium market sector, with a strong background in architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire-rated glazing, and structural glazing
  2. Experience using Logikal estimating software
  3. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  4. IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  5. A proactive and motivated attitude, with strong commercial awareness and a focus on delivering high-quality results
