Remuneration: £35,000 - £50,000

Role Responsibilities

The successful Estimator Aluminium Glazing Systems will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing detailed estimates for high-end aluminium glazing systems, including curtain walling, windows, doors, rooflights, fire-rated glazing, and structural glazing
  2. Reviewing tender documents and producing high-quality tender returns to secure new projects
  3. Utilising specialist estimating software to determine material costs and negotiate prices with the supply chain
  4. Liaising with main contractors to ensure smooth project delivery and building strong relationships
  5. Ensuring the internal CRM system is regularly updated to track project progress
  6. Preparing handover documents for the contracts department once a project is secured
  7. Estimating for projects ranging in value from up to circa £8m
  8. Prioritising workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Ideal Applicant Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Estimating experience within the aluminium market sector
  2. Experience using Logikal estimating software
  3. A strong background in architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire-rated glazing, and structural glazing
  4. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  5. IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
  6. Excellent communication and analytical skills
  7. A proactive and motivated attitude with strong commercial awareness
