The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Warehouse Operative. This position is a permanent opportunity to join our client's team in a dynamic and established company within the cable, wiring accessories, and electrical insulation industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date materials database management
  • Coordinate the allocation and call-off of materials for shipment
  • Verify, inspect, and receive all materials received, ensuring quality control
  • Investigate and resolve material shortfalls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Optimize bin location and storage of materials, updating systems accordingly
  • Ensure all materials are properly labelled and organized
  • Monitor and evaluate stock accuracy to maintain high levels of inventory management
  • Manage the workflow generated through order releases for picking, packing, and despatch of parcels
  • Pick and pack stock for web orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Proactively manage and investigate short shipment or lost in transit queries to completion
  • Collaborate with the sales team and goods in teams to resolve queries and problems in a timely manner
  • Palletize freight, label, and despatch through various booking portals

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and written
  • Proficiency in computer programs, Microsoft Word, email, and Excel
  • Experience in checking booking in stock and picking, packing, and shipping
