About the Role

LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Warehouse and Logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse and logistics functions, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Warehousing Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of a warehousing service that meets or exceeds all agreed service levels, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Change Management and Automation: Lead and implement change initiatives aimed at automating operations, driving efficiencies, and enhancing overall performance outcomes.
  3. Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of supporting technologies to reduce the need for manual intervention, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  4. Data Analytics and KPI Monitoring: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), including order cycle times, accuracy, and product utilization rates, to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
  5. Transport Management Compliance: Ensure high standards of management, leadership, and compliance within the transport function, adhering to transportation regulations, LPCH patient SLAs, and industry standards.
  6. Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement activities across warehouse and logistics operations to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  8. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing department, maximizing the performance and potential of team members through effective mentoring, training, and support.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a warehouse and logistics environment, specifically in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry. Proven GM-level experience in managing warehouse and logistics operations, demonstrating strategic oversight and operational excellence, is essential. Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments, are also required.

The position is primarily based in a warehouse and logistics environment, which may involve physical activities and adherence to safety protocols.
