**Job Description**

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Share Schemes Manager to help build and develop our share scheme business. The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

  • Work closely with regional partners to drive business growth
  • Own and manage a client portfolio with higher levels of client responsibility
  • Deliver revenue and profitability targets
  • Foster enduring client relationships
  • Develop and implement our smarter people plan

The successful candidate will provide shareholder tax advice to owners of small, medium enterprises throughout the life of their business, supporting them from start-ups to growing businesses and owner shareholders looking to exit.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • In terms of key skills, you will be providing tax advice on a range of share-related tax matters, including ERS issues, EMICS, Hurdle Shares, Unapproved options, SEIS/EIS, Employee Ownership Trusts, management buy-outs, and share valuations.
  • You will also provide share scheme services to clients from small, fast-growing companies to large corporate entities and international groups.
  • Communication with internal departments to develop opportunities is essential.

**Requirements**

  • Understanding of and previous experience within share scheme tax is essential.
  • Previous share scheme experience in a similar role within a practice environment is required.
  • Certified Tax Adviser (CTA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification or equivalent is necessary.
  • Multiple industry exposure would be beneficial.
  • Ability to look for and develop opportunities for selling new services to existing clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge and leadership experience are desired.

**Estimated Salary**: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
