Job Description:

We are looking for an accomplished Electrical Site Technician to join our team in Chester, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical services.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, as well as exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, to effectively collaborate with colleagues, project managers, and clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, install, test, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals, develop new ideas, and improve existing processes.
  • Maintain precise records of work completed, including installation and maintenance logs, to enable informed decision-making and efficient project planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3)
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field is advantageous
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
  • Certification in inspection and testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) is beneficial
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to company policies
  • ECS Card or equivalent certification required
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary and Benefits:
