About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electrical site technician to join our team at CG Resourcing Ltd. As an electrical site technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and testing of electrical systems and equipment
  2. Routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations
  3. Execution of electrical wiring for lighting, power distribution, and control systems
  4. Ensuring all wiring meets safety standards and local regulations
  5. Conducting tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
  6. Diagnosis and rectification of any electrical faults and issues in a timely manner using testing equipment
  7. Maintenance of accurate records of work performed
  8. Completion of necessary documentation for compliance with health and safety regulations
  9. Adherence to all health and safety regulations on site

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field (advantageous)
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
  • Certification in inspection and testing (beneficial)
  • Relevant work experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or construction (typically 2-5 years)
  • Familiarity with site safety protocols and experience working on construction sites

Salary Details

▢ £38,000 - £48,000 per year
