We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprentice Assessor to join our MTC Training Team in Coventry or Oxford. As an Apprentice Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of engineering apprentices, providing guidance, training, and assessment to ensure they meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular student reviews, ensuring adherence to ESFA funding regulations, and provide timely feedback on their progress.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with student employers, ensuring a collaborative approach to supporting learners.
- Monitor students' working environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and providing support to employers.
- Assess students' work, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment with unit criteria.
- Perform written work-based observations of students conducting engineering tasks and duties.
- A high level of electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge, gained through industrial experience.
- An in-depth understanding of engineering apprenticeships and qualification standards.
- Excellent assessment and IQA skills, with a good understanding of various assessment methods.
- Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's in Maths and English, grade C or above.
- CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
- IT proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams.
