Senior Hepatobiliary Surgeon Position

We are inviting applications for a full-time Senior Clinical Fellow in Hepatobiliary Surgery to join our Division of Surgery at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity allows you to develop your skills and expertise in Hepatobiliary Surgery while contributing to cutting-edge research and patient care.
The successful appointee will be expected to have spent time training as a General Surgeon to at least the level of ST3 Specialty Trainee, with desirable experience in HPB surgery and completion of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Examination (or equivalent).
You will join a strong team-based approach to patient care, working alongside 7 Consultant Hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeons. Your responsibilities will include contributing to continuing education, professional development, audit, and research within the Division and Trust.
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.

This role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, manage time efficiently, and take initiative to set goals. In addition, the ideal candidate should have:
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
Education and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess MBChB or equivalent and MRCS or equivalent qualifications. Desirable qualifications include FRCS or equivalent.
