Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our construction project in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial steel frame construction and a minimum of 5 years of experience in site management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the construction project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the installation of the steel frame structure, including foundation work, steel erection, and cladding.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure top-notch quality throughout the project.
  • Implement effective supply chain strategies and manage deliveries.
  • Lead and motivate the site team, including subcontractors and skilled tradespeople.
  • Provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, specifically with industrial steel frame projects.
  • Valid SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
  • Familiarity with steel frame construction techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to address challenges proactively and find practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
