We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry to join our team at NHS Grampian. As a Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing expert care and guidance to patients struggling with addiction.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of addiction and its impact on individuals and communities. As a Consultant in Addiction Psychiatry, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with addiction-related disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Higher specialist training in Addiction Psychiatry
  • Experience in providing clinical care to patients with addiction-related disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
