Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a successful secondary school in North Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a specialist team of staff supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and providing targeted support for designated students, ensuring their needs are met and progress monitored.
- Establishing strong, professional relationships with pupils, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Communicating students' needs and effective strategies to teaching staff, promoting collaboration and student success.
- Supporting the development, implementation and review of Pastoral Support Plans, EHCPs, and IEPs, ensuring individualized support plans are in place.
- Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions, tailoring support to meet the diverse needs of students.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will be an enthusiastic and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant, committed to delivering high-quality support.
- Will have experience working with KS3/4 pupils, with a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
- Will possess a willingness to learn and implement new support techniques, remaining up-to-date with best practices.
