Technical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team at St. Modwen. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Information Management: Manage the flow of technical information, including drawings, design plans, and technical approvals, across multiple projects to ensure that site teams and other stakeholders have access to the necessary documentation.
- Design Issue Resolution: Provide solutions to design issues, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, technical requirements, and change control processes.
- Quality Control and Technical Advice: Advise the Construction team on quality control and technical issues, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
- Section Agreements and Legal Setup: Manage section agreements to the point of technical approval and legal agreement, and advise the Construction and Commercial teams on requirements to ensure timely adoption.
- Project Setup and Management: Ensure the proper legal setup of projects, including the coordination of conveyancing plans, ongoing management structures, sample transfers, and purchaser information.
- Change Control and Feedback: Adhere to the change control process to ensure compliance with company standards and provide feedback on the standard house type range.
- Design Vetting and Innovation: Vet all designs to ensure efficiency, buildability, and quality, and propose and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with key Homes stakeholders, including internal and external project team members, regional development teams, and Homes staff across all disciplines.
- Training and Development: Provide support and guidance to Technical Coordinators and Technical Assistants, ensuring critical on-the-job learning and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- St. Modwen Values: Promote and live the St. Modwen values, maintaining knowledge and adherence to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation, and Regulations.
- Safe Working Practices: Develop and ensure safe and responsible working practices, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant degree or similar level technical qualification, e.g., Architectural Technologist.
- Experience: Experience in Technical Construction.
- Skills: Strong planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills, strong negotiator, strong technical and management skills, and full UK driving license.
