Technical Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team at TDM Recruitment. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate technical information and collaborate with the design team to ensure that all projects meet and exceed expectations.
  • Support site teams in resolving day-to-day project issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Confidently use engineering software like AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroDrainage to manage drawings and document control processes.
  • Review development layouts and house type drawings to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Identify and address design-related challenges to deliver value engineering solutions and drive cost savings.
  • Manage utility applications (Gas, Electric, Water & Fibre) and coordinate plans to ensure compliance with building regulations.
  • Liaise with building control and warranty providers to meet requirements.
  • Assist Sales with customer inquiries and generate sales materials to support invoicing and cost management processes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering degree (BSc/BEng) and experience in private practice with detailed engineering designs.
  • Experience with online drawing management systems like Viewpoint and proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Housebuilding experience and a driving licence are essential, while a CSCS Card and project management experience are desirable.
Package:
  • £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE) and company car or car allowance.
  • Life assurance – 4x annual salary and private healthcare.
  • Discretionary bonus and opportunities for career growth and development.
