About the Role:

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential home in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to maintain a therapeutic approach and provide direct work with the children.
  • Lead shifts and manage a staff team, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters and ensure the home is maintained to a high standard.
  • Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviors.
  • Experience of leading shifts and supervising care staff.
  • Ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  • Full UK Manual driving license.
