Job Title: Occupational Therapist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist Lead to join our Neurodevelopmental Service team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development of occupational therapy services for young people with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of occupational therapy services for young people with ASD and ADHD.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to occupational therapists and other team members.
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for young people and their families.
Requirements:
  • 1st level degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent experience.
  • Postgraduate certificate in Sensory Integration or equivalent.
  • Leadership training and experience.
  • Sound knowledge of child development and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with young people, families, and healthcare professionals.
