About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that make our Lounges so special.

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and leading a high-performing team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback.

What You'll Do
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining high standards across the team
  • Drive sales and customer engagement through effective marketing and promotions
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Manage rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and customers
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS
  • Ability to work at pace with limited supervision, while adhering to pressure and timescales
  • Good literacy skills and attention to detail, with the ability to support reporting on KPIs
