A leading construction company is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a temporary to permanent contract for a project involving traditional new build houses in Leicester.
Job Duties:- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Monitor and report on progress to the Site Manager
- Assist in resolving any onsite issues or conflicts
- Help maintain high-quality standards of workmanship
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Valid First Aid certification
- Driving Licence
- Previous experience in new build housing, ideally with a PLC developer
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
The role of Assistant Site Manager involves working on a construction site, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. The candidate should be prepared to work full-time hours as required for the project.
