Job Title: Electrical Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a Clerk of Works role, with a background in HVDC, electricity infrastructure, and linear civils.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our HVDC projects. You will be responsible for managing site activities, monitoring quality and safety standards, and advising the project manager on programme and works risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage site activities and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor works activities and advise the project manager on programme and works risks.
  • Complete daily and weekly site reports to record progress and site conditions.
  • Attend site safety audits and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with land and planning teams to ensure grantor charter requirements are met.
  • Ensure sites tests are carried out and test results are recorded and examined.
  • Provide comments on contractor site quality plans and monitor completion.
  • Ensure contractors have adequate induction and emergency procedures in place.
  • Review and provide comments on contractor site-specific method statements and risk assessments.
  • Report safety-related incidents, near misses, and environmental incidents to the project manager.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Clerk of Works role, with a background in HVDC, electricity infrastructure, and linear civils.
  • Proven track record of managing site activities and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
