The energy sector is undergoing rapid transformation due to growing demand, regulatory changes, and technological innovations.

About the Role

We are seeking a High Voltage Transmission Specialist to join our Energy Team in leading this change. As a key member of our Cable team, you will work on electrical substation design, major renewables, HVDC interconnectors, offshore grids, and FEED design projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects across various technical disciplines with clients nationwide. You will be responsible for working as part of the Cable team, providing expertise in cable design, routing layouts, trench & trenchless section layouts, cable bonding & phasing, cable pulling, termination, and jointing arrangements.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), from an accredited institution, and professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and ICE. Experience as a civil substation engineer, with a wider awareness of other typical HV civil engineering projects, is highly desirable.

You will have experience in the Design (Concept, FEED, and detail design) of transmission & distribution systems – for Utility companies based on International standards. Proficiency in CYMCAP software, MS Outlook, and MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation is also required.
