At Exemplar Health Care, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team at Tees Grange care home in Stockton-on-Tees. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Care Assistant looking to take their career to the next level.
About the RoleThis challenging yet rewarding role involves working closely with our Nurse in Charge to lead a small Care Team in delivering high-quality care for adults living with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities. Our Senior Health Care Assistants play a vital role in supporting every aspect of our residents' day-to-day lives, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Supporting people with their personal care and assisting them at meal times
- Understanding individual health and wellbeing needs and promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of care colleagues
- Ensuring that care documentation is completed to a high standard
We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, and a range of benefits including regular supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects. If you have relevant experience, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, plus Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above, we encourage you to apply.
