At Shorterm Group, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Systems Support Engineer to join our team in Crewe. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the proposed HVAC internalisation plan for Crewe.
Responsibilities:
* Perform HVAC Overhauls and repairs
* Conduct HVAC type testing and routine testing
* Replace unit defects
* Support the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the overhaul process
* Conduct refrigerant changes and subsequent system redesign
* Participate in partial and full system redesign
* Collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve general fault finding and rectification
* Establish tooling best practices
* Respond to safety issues raised with corrective actions
* Lead overhaul modernisation programs, working with UK and Global teams to facilitate the introduction into the Crewe facility
Qualifications:
* Degree or Higher Certificate in engineering/technical discipline is preferred
* F-Gas category 2 certificate is essential
* Knowledge of HVAC processes such as Brazing, Use of gasses, System vaccuming
* Knowledge of a maintenance management system BOM management, SAPI
