At Handicap International, we are seeking a highly skilled Armed Violence Reduction (AVR) Policy and Development Manager to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and expansion of mine action and armed violence reduction activities within existing and new programs. They will also collaborate in the definition of policies and strategies to leverage HI's expertise in AVR.

  • Contribute to the expansion of humanitarian operations in mine action and AVR, by supporting teams in the field.
  • Consolidate a community of practice on AVR policies and act as a focal point for the development of multi-country initiatives.
  • Ensure operational management and monitor team performance.

To achieve this goal, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly in mine action, arms and munitions management, armed violence reduction and related disciplines.
