Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Maintenance department at Autocraft Solutions Group's headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing maintenance activities across the site, working in partnership with the maintenance and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to production plant, equipment, building infrastructure, and site services.
  • Troubleshoot and perform practical fault finding on plant and equipment.
  • Install new plant or modifications to existing equipment.
  • Conduct planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance.
  • Report all maintenance activities in the appropriate format into the Computer Maintenance Management System.
  • Work in a safe manner and be proficient with locking out procedures in compliance with company and British safety standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive technical knowledge of PLCs, motor, and safety control circuits, as well as an understanding of hazards and controls associated with machinery and industrial environments.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge with PLCs, motor, and safety control circuits.
  • Understanding of hazards and controls associated with machinery and industrial environments.
  • ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering supported by a recognised apprenticeship.
  • IEE Regs qualification.
  • Understanding and competence with mechanical fault finding.
  • A proven track record of effective technical problem-solving, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement process.
  • Experience of working effectively in an operational team of varying disciplines and skill levels.
  • Ability to effectively balance urgent and important tasks.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Competent in writing risk assessments and method statements.
