About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Purchasing team and drive the efficient flow of parts from suppliers to customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements to enhance supply chain capabilities and reduce environmental impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Purchasing function, including analysis of supply chain metrics, costs, lead times, and service levels
  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective material acquisition
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance, ethical sourcing practices, and alignment with our UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Developing supply chain contingency plans and implementing supply chain risk management programs
  • Demand forecasting and inventory planning
  • Supplier relationship and performance management, including negotiation
  • Production and management of tenders
  • Inter-departmental liaison with relevant stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management, a proven track record of optimising processes and driving efficiency, and a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

We offer a competitive salary, 33 days paid holiday (rising to 38 depending on length of service), and a range of benefits, including company-related performance bonuses, a company final salary pension scheme, and private health insurance.
