Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Development Specialist to join our team. This role will involve developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to meet our goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to achieve targets.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organisations to secure funding opportunities.
  • Diversify our funding streams to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Lead freelance or bid writers to achieve successful grant proposals and applications.
  • Create in-kind funding streams that complement our work.
  • Write and submit high-quality grant proposals and fundraising applications.
  • Plan and execute engaging fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring their ongoing engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop compelling content for fundraising campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fundraising regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising.
  • Proven track record of achieving fundraising targets.
  • Experience in writing and submitting grant proposals and fundraising applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.
