Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial transactions and records of our clients in St Albans. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for multiple clients for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • AAT qualified or studying towards a qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role within a financial services firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Additional Information:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000, company pension, free parking, and on-site parking. The working hours are Monday to Friday and the ability to commute/relocate is required.
