Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Accountant to join our team at Kennedy Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior/Head Accountant in providing a key contribution to the efficient delivery of the full range of financial functions within the organization.
  • Provide specialist financial advice to Directors, Programme of Care Leads, and other Senior Managers within the organization and its external stakeholders.
  • Assist in providing a key contribution to the efficient, effective, and economic use of financial allocations for commissioning of health and social care.
  • Assist in providing a key contribution to the development of local policy for the organization's financial strategy and financial planning in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Assist in providing a key contribution to the significant aspects of the development of local approaches to changing Local/National Policy as it relates to financial issues.
  • Assist in the provision of financial systems to facilitate efficient and effective financial management of the organization's resources.
  • Provide information to assist in the management of the performance of organizations within the Health and Social Care environment.

Requirements

  • Full membership of one of the 5 CCAB recognized professional accounting bodies or membership of CIMA.
  • 3 years of experience in a Finance Department, including 2 years of supervisory/staff management experience.
  • A current full driving license valid for use in the UK and access to a car on appointment.

Assignment Details

  • £22.37 per hour.
  • Full-time, temporary (Until April 2025).
  • 37.5 hours per week.
