About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
  • Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' work to support their progress and achievement
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the English curriculum
  • Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding students' progress
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities to contribute to the school community
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
  • Experience teaching English at the primary/secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and methodologies

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
