Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead our team of engineers and technicians in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management, with experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the design, development, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects
  • To lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives
  • To develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • To identify and mitigate risks, and to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • To collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
  • To provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients

Requirements:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management
  • Chartered Engineer or Qualified by Experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
