About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and enhance our EHS programs. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, foster a culture of safety in the workplace, and implement strategies to minimise risks related to health, safety, and environmental impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in accordance with UK legislation and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and establish preventive measures.
• Manage and coordinate emergency response plans and procedures, including staff training on emergency preparedness.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all staff levels, promoting a strong culture of safety and awareness throughout the organisation.
• Oversee the management of hazardous materials, including waste disposal and recycling programs.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS professional with a strong background in environmental, health, and safety management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
