Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the effective implementation of Health and Safety Management tools and the control and monitoring of all risks.
- Develop and maintain all Health and Safety documentation and policies, including safe working procedures, training documents, risk assessments, and policies.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
- Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Document, investigate, and implement improvements for all accidents and near misses, and represent the company's interests when Employers liability claims are raised.
- Act as the main point of contact for external bodies such as the Health and Safety Executive, Public Health England, the Police, and other statutory bodies.
- Establish a comprehensive program of documented health & safety / environmental inspections, audits, and checks.
- Develop a structured program of health & safety training throughout the Company, ensuring accurate health and safety training records are maintained.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 38 Hours per week.
