Key Responsibilities:- Manage a high-volume pipeline of mortgage applications from submission to completion.
- Make sound discretionary lending decisions within our risk appetite and lending policy.
- Exercise discretion on cases outside of standard lending policy.
- Obtain and retain a lending mandate.
- Previous manual underwriting experience, with a strong background in equity release mortgages.
- A customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude to continuous learning.
