**About the Role**

Think Specialist Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our client, a rapidly growing electrical wholesale business based in High Wycombe. As a key member of the senior management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategy and driving growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and expansion
  • Manage the finance team, including transactional staff, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and end-of-year accounts
  • Transition to group reporting and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
  • Bring payroll in-house and manage HMRC submissions for PAYE and VAT
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance profitability

**Requirements**

  • Qualified Accountant with year-end experience and exposure in a high-growth SME business
  • Proven track record of driving financial growth and improvement in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a finance team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills
