Responsibilities

  • To support, safeguard, and promote the wellbeing of children and young people
    \t
  • Assist with daily routines, which may include working in the community and/or educational settings
    \t
  • Organize and facilitate social activities to promote social skills and relationships
    \t
  • Transportation to and from activities and appointments
    \t
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice and ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in your care
    \t
  • Offer high levels of supervision and support to promote independence and confidence
    \t
  • Work in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations to ensure the highest standards of care
    \t
  • Manage complex behaviors and crisis intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and young people
    \t
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the needs of the children and young people are met
    \


Requirements


  • \t
  • A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working within a child and/or young adult setting
    \t
  • All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
    \t
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
    \t
  • Diploma level 3 in children\u2019s and young people\u2019s care, desirable level 4
    \
