About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead our Flood Risk Management team at Align Property Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our hydraulic modelling services to clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of hydraulic modelers and engineers to deliver high-quality flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
- Develop and implement best practices in hydraulic modelling to drive innovation and excellence in our services
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Manage project delivery, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, technologies, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions
Requirements:
- Degree in Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- Proven record of delivering flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and drainage strategies
- Deep knowledge of the regulatory system to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as Autocad, QGIS, and hydraulic modelling software
- Strong project management skills and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
