About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead our Flood Risk Management team at Align Property Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our hydraulic modelling services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of hydraulic modelers and engineers in delivering Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, and Drainage Strategies
  • Validate and provide guidance on 1D/2D hydraulic modelling techniques to support client projects
  • Work with our team to deliver projects that meet client requirements and provide technical support to others
  • Manage project delivery and provide leadership within an engineering consultancy
Requirements
  • Degree in Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven record delivering Flood Alleviation schemes, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies
  • Deep knowledge of the regulatory system to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as Autocad, QGIS, and Hydraulic Modelling software
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members, clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
