Job Title: Cost Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cost Manager to join our team. As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for cost planning and estimation across the lifecycle of projects. You will produce estimates and budget reviews across a wide range of sectors, collect data, analyze, and define the needs of our clients and stakeholders. You will also produce analysis and benchmarking reports that promote value for money and identify trends and cost drivers. Additionally, you will ensure reported data is accurate and up-to-date. You will champion innovation within our organization and on the client-side. You will also support/lead tool development that integrates data, dashboards, and outputs to represent unit cost analyses. You will liaise with cross-functional teams to develop ideas for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost planning and estimation across the lifecycle of projects.
  • Producing estimates and budget reviews across a wide range of sectors.
  • Collecting data, analyzing, and defining the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Producing analysis and benchmarking reports that promote value for money and identify trends and cost drivers.
  • Ensuring reported data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Championing innovation within our organization and on the client-side.
  • Supporting/leading tool development that integrates data, dashboards, and outputs to represent unit cost analyses.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to develop ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with commercial roles and functions for large capital programs.
  • Preferably experienced in UK complex infrastructure sector clients.
  • Good communication skills, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and client-facing attributes.
  • Experience with common forms of UK Construction contracts such as NEC, FIDIC, and JCT.
