Job Title: Cost Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £42,500 - £47,500

Responsibilities of the Cost Manager:
  1. Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget
  2. Prepare detailed cost reports for each project
  3. Assist in reviewing project scope and attending site meetings with contractors
  4. Contribute to the preparation of documentation for contracts and manage project budgets
  5. Develop and implement cost planning strategies
  6. Ensure cost assurance for design and build contracts valued between £1m and £20M
Requirements of the Cost Manager:
  1. A RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying is essential
  2. Must have MRICS in Quantity Surveying
  3. Pre-and post-contract experience
  4. Experience with cost planning, value engineering, and preparing tenders
  5. Tender analysis
  6. Cost assurance experience for design and build contracts valued between £1m and £20M
On offer for the Cost Manager:
  1. A basic salary of £42,500 to £47,500
  2. Hybrid working arrangement
  3. Pension contributions of 7%
  4. 32 days holiday
