Export Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:
HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Export Transport Operator to join our Road Freight team. As an Export Transport Operator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the export of goods from the UK to Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the export of goods from the UK to Europe, including sourcing haulage and negotiating prices.
- Combine part loads with groupage to ensure service levels are met while minimizing costs.
- Deal with customs issues and ensure legislative compliance.
- Sourcing and negotiating with hauliers to maximize cost effectiveness.
- Communicate with drivers and haulers to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and instruct documentation for customs clearance and warehouse loading.
Requirements:
- Experience in groupage planning and export logistics.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
Working Hours:
This is an office-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Due to the location, you will need to be a driver, and parking is available on site.
