Planning Coordinator

Crystal Collections collects and moves vehicle assets on behalf of its clients (primarily banks and finance houses in the Motor and Asset finance world). As the Planning Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the planning of the collection of vehicles from our customers who have agreed to hand back their vehicles and you will be working in small team out of our offices in Upminster. The contract is for 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday, the hours of work have yet to be agreed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day to day fleet operation, ensuring efficiency of vehicles and legality/compliance of drivers and their hours.
- Ensuring scheduled work is executed in a safe and timely manner and all vehicles are collected and delivered to company standards.
- Develop a good working relationship with drivers.
- Develop good working relationships with key suppliers and customers.
- Respond and assist with customer queries / issues / requirements.
- Assist Transport Manager in:
- Ensuring all transport records are maintained to DVSA guidelines.
- Dealing with all defects, repairs, servicing and accident reporting.
- Maintaining compliance with O Licence
Experience / Skills
- Energetic and friendly and able to stay calm and make decisions
- Worked in a traffic office
- Have good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Able and willing to work in a close knit team, and be a positive team member
- Computer literate
- Ability to coordinate tasks with a 'hands on' approach, and the ability to make decisions under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,150.00-£28,000.00 per year
