Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager Opportunity

Search Consultancy is supporting a business in Whitley Goole for an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to join their Financial Shared Services team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the AP and AR teams, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped with the right procedures and processes to hit targets and achieve month-end close-down deadlines.

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience as a supervisor or manager of an Accounts Receivable (Credit Control) and Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) team.

The role offers hybrid working with a listed actual salary range and a range of excellent benefits, including access to a Talent Library with over 800 courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the AP and AR teams to ensure they are properly trained and equipped
  • Develop and implement procedures and processes to hit targets and achieve month-end close-down deadlines
  • Ensure a consistent and stable cash flow

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a supervisor or manager of an Accounts Receivable (Credit Control) and Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) team
  • Experience of working with ERP systems (preferably IFS)
  • CICM or AAT qualified
