Comms Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Comms Analyst to join our Sector Security Team at National Grid ESO. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering a communications capability that supports the sector's security and resilience objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a stakeholder communications plan to ensure effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with Security leadership to develop communication materials that promote the sector's security and resilience outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Corporate Affairs and agency teams to deliver high-quality materials.
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of our communications, suggesting alternative methods where appropriate.
- Proactively create opportunities to raise the profile of the sector's work and bolster its reputation as an independent technical authority.
- Manage Security Engagement Events and support Security teams attending stakeholder events.
- You will have a strong background in stakeholder communications, with experience of working with internal senior stakeholders and external bodies.
- You will have a clear awareness of stakeholder communications channels and tools.
- You will be able to assemble complex ideas, issues, and observations into clear and simple explanations, ensuring that communication is prioritised to deliver greatest consumer value and improved resilience outcomes.
- You will have the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, and make independent decisions with a high degree of confidence.
