About the Role
National Grid is seeking a skilled Communications Analyst to join our Sector Security Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering a communications capability that supports the sector's security and risk management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a stakeholder communications plan to ensure effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with security leadership to develop communication materials that promote the sector's security and risk management activities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with corporate affairs and agency teams to deliver high-quality materials.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communications efforts, suggesting alternative methods where necessary.
- Proactively create opportunities to raise the profile of the sector's work and enhance its reputation as an independent technical authority.
- Manage security engagement events and support security teams attending stakeholder events.
About You
- You have a strong background in stakeholder communications, with experience working with internal senior stakeholders and external bodies.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assemble complex ideas into clear and simple explanations.
- You have a clear awareness of stakeholder communications channels and tools.
- You are able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and make independent decisions with a high degree of confidence.
