Job Title:
Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to support our programme within a supplier facility near Stockport.


The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor progress of hardware and software projects to ensure they meet quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supplier quality engineer role, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulations, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
