Store Manager

Barnardo's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Flint Store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that sales and profits are maximized while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Ensure that stock is effectively managed, including ordering, receiving, and displaying merchandise.
- Implement promotions and visual merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory, labor, and utilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the Area Business Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
- Proven experience in retail management, with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Basic IT skills, with experience of using retail software and systems.
