We're seeking a highly skilled Director, Investor Relations to join our team in London, UK.

A key contributor to the communication, engagement and promotion of Liberty Global with the investment community (shareholders, banking community, investing public, financial investors & institutional investors)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead global investor relations efforts, interacting with our debt and equity investors, attending conferences, organizing roadshows, meetings with management, etc.

Build and maintain ongoing communication with investors and analysts and handle questions and inquiries from investor and analyst community.

Prepare materials including presentations, scripts and Q&A's for equity and fixed income conferences and coordinate calls, meetings and conferences with investors.

Draft annual and quarterly reports, press releases, earnings releases and other financial materials.

Support ECM function within Investor relations umbrella to help unlock future value for shareholders including work on potential future listings (Opco's and Ventures)

Benchmark and track industry peers, trends impacting the cable/telecom sector and research views on Liberty Global.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of Liberty Global and its subsidiaries' operational and financial developments.

Assist with planning and arrangements for meetings, road shows and conferences.

Manage relationship with public stock exchange (Nasdaq).

Coordinate press release process working closely with legal and external communications.

Remain current on key business and industry developments including changes to financial, accounting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Benchmark and track industry peers and trends impacting the cable/telecom sector.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of Liberty Global's operations and financial profile.

Perform various corporate financial analysis, including valuation and modelling work.

KEY DELIVERABLES
Preferred education/ qualifications:

University Business Degree / MBA / Professional accountancy qualification desired, but not necessary.

Excel financial modelling skills and advanced knowledge of PowerPoint/MS word.

Project Management and leadership skills (incl. multi-disciplinary teams).

Knowledge & Experience:

At least 6-8 years minimum experience in the cable/telecoms industry as well as experience in banking, corporate finance, consultancy or corporate M&A/strategy departments.

Knowledge of corporate organizational structures, business operations, regulations and relevant governmental oversight entities.

Ability to think analytically under pressure, to identify needed information and obtain it from diverse sources and to present practical solutions to problems.

Foresight to anticipate consequences and implications.

Great teammate with interpersonal sensitivity, confidence, tact and persuasiveness.

Excellent communication and social skills required and the ability to form substantial relationships throughout the organisation at all levels.

Ability to quickly get to grips with new markets, products and technologies and distill what the key drivers and potential impact of these are on our businesses.

Self-starter able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.

Skills & Abilities:

Requires experience in Finance, Accounting, IR and/or Corporate/Financial Communications.

Background in accounting and finance including valuation experience preferred

Excellent communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills are required to be successful.

Cable, telecom, media or high-tech company background, as well as global experience preferred.

Must have knowledge of federal securities laws and be able to quickly learn company products and operations. Preexisting knowledge of Liberty GlobaIs'
