We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, Grendon & Springhill, and Huntercombe. As a Podiatrist in this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex and chronic presentations, including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, non-judgmental care to patients, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, following our policies and procedures, and considering safeguarding.
- Forge strong working relationships with the healthcare team and the wider Health in Justice Service.
- Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.
- Experience assessing and treating a range of conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.
- HCPC registration with post-registration experience in assessing and treating patients with complex and chronic presentations.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of the team.
